To whom will the Insurance Company pay the benefits?
This will be paid to you, the insured, and not the hospital.
When will I receive the benefits of my hospital income claim?
You will get paid after you have been discharged from a hospital recognized by the Bureau of Medical Services.
Will I be able to claim hospital income if I was not confined at the hospital?
No. You have to be confined for at least 24 hours in a clinic or hospital that is recognized by the Bureau of Medical Services in order to make a claim.
Is Unprovoked Murder and Assault automatically covered?
No. Unprovoked assault or murder is subject to approval depending on your occupation.
Is motorcycle accidents automatically covered in my accident insurance policy?
No. This is not automatically covered. If you want this to be covered, you need to request for it and it will be for the insurance company’s approval.
Can I have more than one Accident Insurance Policy?
Yes. You can get more than one policy as long as it does not exceed the maximum benefit allowance based on the percentage of your gross annual income.
Will I be covered anywhere I go?
Yes. The coverage is worldwide unless stated in your policy. Usual exclusions are countries experiencing war, terrorism, etc. Otherwise, you are covered 24/7, all year.
Who is the beneficiary?
Beneficiaries are usually named in your policy by your choice. In case you failed to mention a name in the policy, the company will give the benefits to your estate or any relative by blood or marriage deemed appropriate by the insurance company.
